Nothing really stood out with this stay as it did with the last time I stayed there.

There is a free shuttle from the airport which makes things much easier. I've stayed at this hotel and several others in the hotel complex there. If you stay here just lower expectations.ĥ.31km from downtown Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn/Midway airport for 3 nights for a weekend trip. This is an older hotel and could use an update, along with the surrounding area. Probably best to just order delivery and eat in room. The TGIF located directly across from hotel (1 minute walk) is poorly managed, understaffed, and not a place where you can relax and have a nice meal. as stated above, there’s really nothing in the area. Hotel is located in a large lot with other hotels, but the area within the lot and outside of it just does not feel safe. the area is not recommended for families.

TV was older and don’t think there were any movie channels. Both were brought to the staff’s attention. bathroom sink would back up and bathroom light would flicker. They provided 3 bottles – 1 was conditioner and 2 said body wash (see pic). room was quiet and I had an uninterrupted sleep -no shampoo in shower. Overall, my stay was fine but a few things to note. Just go to Departure (Ticketing) Level and exit Door 2 and look for the sign. Free shuttle pick up from Midway which runs every 20 or so minutes. I have never had this issue from any other hotel.ĥ.26km from downtown I stayed here for 1 night for business. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Just a very strange and frustrating experience - I had no backup plan since, you know, my reservation had been confirmed and all. I of course did not receive any sort of cancellation email, phone call, or text they just waited until I was already there (after paying for an Uber ride to this hotel, I might add). She informed me I was refunded on my card as well. I asked how a reserved room could have been booked, to which she just responded by repeating her previous statement. without really offering any explanation as to why my CONFIRMED reservation was cancelled.

She then proceeded to tell me about another hotel that might have rooms available and how to get there.
I arrive the night of my reservation, and the employee tells me that my reservation was cancelled because ”all of the rooms were booked”. I received a confirmation email with a confirmation number, which I still have just in case.
